Dr. Phil Schuler
Dr. Phil Schuler was born in Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated DuPont Manual High School 1977. He went on to attend the University of Louisville while working as a mechanical design draftsman for five years. Dr. Schuler graduated in 1982 with a BA in Biology. After working as a phlebotomist for four years, he decided to attend dental school at University of Louisville and graduated in 1986. Dr. Schuler worked a few years as an associate and then went on to purchase a dental practice in Shepherdsville Ky. in 1989. Dr. Schuler joined Mortenson Family Dental in 2006 and formed the Finance Committee 2009. He retired from clinical practice in 2010 after multiple neck surgeries. Dr. Schuler was named Director of Clinical Affairs of Mortenson Family Dental 2013 and Regional President of Louisville/Indiana region 2014.
He is a member of the American Dental Society, Kentucky Dental Association where he serves on the Tactical Action Committee for Medicaid, and the Louisville Dental Society.
His hobbies include travel with his wife Jerri, gardening, painting, and vintage volkswagen’s. His daughter Samantha is a hygienist with Mortenson and his son Chris is currently at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
