At Mortenson Dental Partners, we are here to support our team members through whatever obstacles might come their way. The road to becoming a doctor isn’t always an easy one, as one of our very own recently found out. As an orthodontist originally trained out of the country, Dr. Naurine Shah worked as a dental assistant at one of our Abbeville practices while she completed the required exam and licensure process to practice within the state of Texas. Although she encountered some challenges during her completion process, Abbeville Regional President Dr. Mayada Khater, along with MDP Chief Dental Officer Dr. Britt Bostick, were right there to help her along the way as constant advocates and mentors. In the end, she passed her exam with flying colors!
“I was very fortunate to have the guidance and support of Abbeville during a very stressful journey. International dentists face a lot of challenges with getting licensed and Dr. Khater and Dr. Bostick were extremely supportive during the entire process. I am excited to work with this amazing team and benefit the lives of our patients together,” said Dr. Shah.
