Last year, MDP experienced plenty of growth within our regions with expansions, relocations, and even some new partnerships. This allowed practices in the regions we support to provide high-quality care to even more patients, particularly where demand exceeds capacity, and keep their practice environments warm and welcoming. We love seeing these forms of growth to continue providing the best care possible to our patients. Let’s take a look at all the new growth our regions experienced in 2025:
Abbeville Dentistry
Within the Abbeville region, we expanded the Lubbock West practice. This expansion added six new operatories to their office, providing an opportunity for more patient care. And most recently, our Amarillo Grand practice got a remodel to freshen up its office with new cabinetry and an updated lobby.
Mortenson Family Dental
In our MFD region, their Hikes Point practice expanded to a new office, allowing the team to add five additional operatories to their office. In addition to this, the Bardstown office also expanded, adding two additional operatories to its office.
Howard Family Dental
Our Howard region split its Pooler office into two new practices: Pooler South and Pooler North, to accommodate the growing population. The addition of these beautiful new practices not only helped with patient flow but also equipped our teams with the facilities they needed to care for these patients.
Summit Dental Health
In 2025, our Summit region experienced significant growth through new partnerships, including the addition of Milford Dental Clinic, Fallbrook Family Dentistry, and Millard Oaks Dental to the Summit Dental Health family. We’re excited to have Dr. Carolyn Taggart-Burns, Dr. Aubry Monnier, Dr. Janna Spahr, and Dr. Jeffrey Spahr join us! In addition to this, we expanded Summit’s La Vista practice, adding three operatories.
Gentle Dentist
Our Indy region increased its total number of practices to 13 this year with the addition of the Shadeland office, and this 10-operatory facility rebranded as Gentle Dentist. Alongside this, Indy’s Knightstown office relocated to a new office and increased its operatories by two.
Specialty
Within our Specialty region, Kid’s Dentistree Outer Loop expanded and refreshed its office, adding two additional chairs for patient care. This year also brought the exciting new addition of our mobile anesthesia unit, Specialty Anesthesia, LLC! This initiative will help us give patients more convenience for their care, with access to anesthesia services right in the practice. We’re so glad to have had the expertise of Dr. Guthrie and his team join the MDP family in 2025.
Nikodem Dental
This past month, we welcomed Nikodem Dental into the MDP family of care. Nikodem Dental, founded by Dr. Ray Nikodem, has offered general and cosmetic dentistry services to patients in the St. Louis community and its surrounding areas since 2001. Along with adding six new practices, this acquisition takes MDP into the state of Missouri, expanding our footprint into a tenth state!
West 10th Dental Group
Earlier this year, we welcomed West 10th Dental Group into the MDP family of care. Founded by Dr. Brent Barta, West 10th has been serving the Indianapolis-area community for many years, providing outstanding care to patients through their GP and specialty services. This includes 17 doctors of multiple specialties, 22 hygienists, and 42 dental assistants. We’re so grateful to all the West 10th Dental team members who joined our team!
With so many great forms of growth this past year, whether it was investing in our existing practices to give them better facilities to care for our patients, or partnering with new acquisitions to expand our patient base in new areas, MDP is extremely grateful for these new opportunities. And we look forward to what 2026 holds for our teams!
