Wendy McCarty has been promoted to the position of chief operations officer of Mortenson Dental Partners (MDP). In her role as COO, Wendy will lead MDP’s business operations strategy and execution as part of MDP’s executive leadership team, reporting directly to CEO Bill Becknell. She will continue to partner with Dr. Britt Bostick, chief dental officer, to support the clinical operations of MDP’s affiliated practices. Her promotion is effective immediately.
Wendy was previously MDP’s vice president of operations, where she led the organization’s overall business strategy, set and monitored the operational goals and objectives for MDP’s 136 supported practices, and developed the program framework and communication plans for major operational initiatives. Prior to joining MDP in 2020, Wendy had a successful 25-year career with The Kroger Company and served in many capacities, the most recent being vice president of operations for the Louisville division.
