The Learning & Development Department is the right arm of the Operations Department in matters of training and education. It provides, and promotes educational tools for individual self development, team development, and practice development. The department’s educational scope covers many areas in the office, from team to patient interaction. This department focuses on the following areas: Individual Development Pathways, Department implementation, Clinical Continuing Education Courses, Team Development, Growth through Learning, and Education Materials.
At Mortenson Dental Partners, we are dedicated to creating a group dental organization that will be around for generations to come. Through our legacy model, we are developing teams that will be able to deliver great patient care and positively impact the health of their communities for many years to come.
We believe that developing our doctors is critical to fulfilling this mission and that is why we have created Top Doc Program, a doctor leadership academy. Our focus throughout the program is to create mentorships between our new doctors and our experienced doctors, as well as to develop all of our doctors into great leaders and clinicians.
The curriculum includes personal development, clinical development and ways to sustain an engaged team. We are excited to offer this program, and look forward to watching our doctors and teams reach new heights as a result of Top Doc.
